Well, I have to agree w/ some of my southern brothers. I grew up at the wedge back in the mid 70's, and I am ashamed that in 35 years the So. Cal. boys haven't stepped up to the plate and learned how to crank off any big moves. Yes, the Wedge is one big bad mutha, and it used to be that you could get away with allota "well you go out there and see what you can do" statements based on there being very little else to compare it to. But, these days, there are videos of waves in a lot of corners of the world that are just as menacing, and total third world nobodys on dilapidated equipment put these wedge boys to shame. We should be better.No doubt about it.
