I approached Todd Barnes - editor of the Thrash series - to edit this clip of my best waves from 2009 about six months ago. Todd's reply was, 'yeah mate, sweet. It should only take me about 2 weeks to edit. Six months and about 101 phone calls later Todd had finished the project and when I saw the finished product I realised why it has taken so long. Every wave, every moment and every beat of the song makes me proud.
TwoZeroZeroNine is my second profile movie with some of best waves from last year (2009) and is available for free only through benplayer.com.

ben player owns so bad.
i don't really care if he has won 2 x world titles, i just don't like his surfing. but that's my choice.
people are too worried about their style, if we all surfed the same it would be boring.
if you have time to think about crossing your legs perfectly for a reverse or flip then you obviously aren't hitting the section with all the power that you can.
hit sections as hard as possible and if your legs aren't perfect then who cares. i'd rather see someone go huge and boost to the moon rather than a held back perfect crossed legs.
that's why Sean Virtue aqnd hub are the aerial master, don't hold anything back and boost for the moon.
Ill cut all of youz!

bp's style has improved over the years (due to him being so conscientious about it).
the footage & his style are both killer.
he's still at the forefront of bodyboarding in 2010.
