The Second Gen...

The above clip from Damon Gerber is of Zac Appleby, son of former pro-rider and bodyboarding legend Dave Appleby (you may also remember the name from Riptide trips he did as the Quiksilver Team Manager with mini Ben and Toby Player, Teal Nippard, Michael Crawley, Garth McGregor and friends in the mid-90's).

Damon posed the question that Zac could be one of the first of the second generation of prominent Australian bodyboarders. After a quick ponder we added Chaz (one of the original Shark Island chargers, inspiration to a young Dave Ballard and his friends) and Winston McCall (promising sponsored rider, now Parkway Drive frontman) to the list. Can you add any more to the list?

promising sponsored rider?
sounds like winston is only 14 years old.
the guy will never get any better than what he is now.
no writing him off as he rips to the max, but why would he bother.
just surfs for fun and a few pics every now and then. the way it should be
