Because using fins it's not bodyboard anymore???I don't think so...If gives you more control in waves of consequence...I agree using them....I dropknee and only those who dk in heavy reef breaks know how are it is...if with fins I can have more pleasure surfing in those conditions...so what??It's not so difficult??So what?...the only think I request, I want to see is better level of surfing when using them...and I think Kim Feast is getting there!!! Thanks Kim! You are becoming one of my favourite DK riders out there!

Love from portugal!!!

I want to respond to comments even though some see this as just fueling the fire. To me its the reality of putting yourself into the public forum.

To Brian , That 1 board is an ongoing experiment leading towards something in big waves. the board needed to be tested board in all types of waves for me to know how it performed. The board sucked in those waves to turn and put dangerous pressure on the outside of my knee. Put it in 6 foot+ waves though and the benefits it offers are mental. My further comment is that it seems possibly you dont realize the difference in power in reefbreak waves especially in w.a once they get over 4 foot. If you do it would leave more substance to any of your comments and claims for you to show proof or your riding. Its hard to take anything you say on a serious level man.

Thanks for your opinion But surfing is about having fun and trying new things in the ocean to further your own experience. i'm just gonna keep doing it.

are those fins serious? I agree with Brain, if you need fins in your board to dropknee maybe it's time to give up.

Fair enough Brian, the offers always there for you to come show your skills at Northies or even Pipeline for that matter. Kim has won DK sessions,Pipeli ne & numerous other events which i would hope would gain respect not a bunch of haters. I dont even know Kim all that well but he's nice enough & is pushing the limits so much that i feel compelled to back the guy. Instead of putting your energy into these forums get a mate to film you & put it up on here then we can be the judge of your skill level. Its very easy to shred behind a keyboard. ps. I ride a longboard most of the time these days anyway but dudes like Kim keep me interested in my original love but it's the un-educated disrepectful grommets that make it had for an older guy to be proud of the sponge some days. Keep ripping Brian i hope to see you in the waves sometime & you really do rip it as hard you you think,Jordan

Evening Jordan, I don’t wish for yourself or Feastie to get the wrong idea about me although I thinks it too late. I do dropknee, no I have no footage but yes honesty I don’t think my skill level is to far of Kim’s. It’s just personally not where I like to see the direction of dropknee going with skegs. As for Kylie Maligro that’s another personal argument that I think I'd better keep to myself unless you wish to hear it. Sorry Feastie just my personally opinon, don’t wish to take anything away from what you have achieved or whats to come for you.

I like that it is a foreign place with new waves, I don't dropknee but it's hard to take Kim feast seriously with fins in his board.

Nice work Kim,good mix of culture in there & some nice shredding. Think its time for Brian Coulson to post his footage up he seems to have the mouth i would like to know if he walks the walk? Seem Kim charging Northies last week with not a skeg in sight, not that that make a difference. I dont recall Kyle Maligro being knocked for using a fin system. Keep it up Feast cant wait for the next one. Boom
