That is epic! Pete not taking anything away from Kingy or Winny on the knee but i can not recall one wave on any video of those guys that comes close to the waves Kim is riding. Not since Kainoa has somebody pushed the limits of DK in solid waves. Pretty sure Kim has a job & does this for the love mate, dont think there is to many guys making enough money to live on the foam these days. The fact Brad Hughes has to work shows the state of our sport, this generation has missed the big picture & want to see flips & spins & dudes with fringes & very similar styles all doing the same thing over & over. Before all you kids came along there was many a DK rider making a solid living of the style. Its a shame what the sport has become but at least guys like Kim keep the dream alive & give us some amazing visuals to enjoy.

unfortunatley for pete it seems as if he is very thick. I know feast. he works 2 or 3 jobs down in margs, has an architecture degree in progress and still finds time to do this just because he loves it. doesnt get any money at all from anyone its all off his own back. so i would think he really isnt worried whatsoever! the dropknee contests are all a joke apart from pipe. has damien king or dave winchester won one of those?

Unfortunately for Kim there will never be such a thing as a professional dropknee bodyboarder. Why would a company sponsor someone who solely dropknees when they could support someone like winchester or kingy who are accomplished prone bodyboarders who have the ability to win world dropknee events? Think you need another job Kim.
