Its quite obvious that cade isn't trying to be 'rebellious' because well the note on his door for a start is a joke. If he was pissing on a government building then maybe that would be somewhat of a failed attempt to convey fun instead of rebellion, but cade having a beer in his room isnt breaking any laws nor harming anyone. Unless, Hugh, you were raised by some kind of sheltering suburban mother, and your idea of being rebellious is seriously distorted. I dont know the filmer, but I know cade well enough, whats your problem anyway?

I'm sorry for joining the dots between the letter clearly advising him not to drink, and him drinking a beer; to me that spells out rebellion. If whoever shot it was trying to convey Cade's character as being fun and not rebellious, then I think a read of "Filming for Dummies" is in order.

The fact that he enjoys a drink wasn't meant to inspire

Cade is so rebel, his mum told him not to drink and he had a beer! How inspiring.
