Ryan Hardy stormed through his last three heats to win the 2009 Turbo Pipeline Pro in 4-6ft barrels.
In a tight and high performance fina, Hardy narrowly took down French wunderkid, Pierre-Louis Costes to claim the Pipe Trophy.
The final results were:
1st Ryan Hardy 15.86 points
2nd Pierre-Louis Costes 15.20 points
3rd Guilherme Tamega 10.96 points
4th Dave Winchester 10.50 points
Hardy earnt 2000 IBA World Tour points from winning the first of the IBA's Grand Slam events and $US4000. Congratulations Simple Hack!
The LMNOP DK Invitational was also completed today, with the finalists putting on a show that did not disappoint!
The final results were:
1st Bud Miyamoto 12.57 points
2nd Dave Hubbard 10.57 points
3rd Sacha Specker 7.40 points
4th Damien Boone 5.94 points
5th Joe Grodzen 5.34 points
6th Matt Lackey 4.06 points
