G'day riptide. I'm stoked Mitch Rawlins was voted most inspirational booger for 2011. I grew up and surfed on some reefs on the sunshine coast qld. when ever Mitch would rock into town, he did not only rip. He was notably respectfull of the wild local lads that surfed and boogered there at the time. These locals included an arsehole who stole eppo's prototype at the time. we regurlarly sent people in for not respecting what should be "everywhere" surfing courtesy. he never fit in that catagory and I wish him all the successes he would ever want to achieve. Thanx for being a cool lad Mitch.

i just read about the new format for the tour next year, every word i read was better then the last and i hope the sport gets a massive boost from the IBA pty ltd, congrats to Terry & Craig for getting us through the last few years and setting a solid foundation for Gregg and his investors to take us above and beyond.
Reading about the media outlets for the events and new site is unreal aswell and is something i cant wait to checkout daily!
and finally the privilages that the Top 24 recieve is well deserved and would be a massive weight lifted from there shoulders so they can concentrate soley on going big and not on blowing their budgets.
awesome!
and awesome article riptide!
