The opening day of the Sintra Pro Portugal went down yesterday with round one of both the men’s and pro junior divisions taking place.
One of the standouts was German bodyboarder Nicolas Rosner who posted the highest score of the day (13.75 points) on his way to winning his round one heat.
In the Pro Junior competition, series leader Tanner McDaniel and his Brazilian rival Socrates Santana both won their opening heats to progress to the next stage of the competition.
The Sintra Pro Portugal is expected to resume today with the men’s round two, the women’s pro, pro junior and the dropknee divisions.
