The waters may be icy cold, and the weather can be kinda frustrating, but when you score days like this; living in Tasmania ain’t so bad.

Local lad Sam Ross sent us through these photos of a helluva fun session out at Tasmania’s funnest slab with just his good mate Sam Thomas.

Here is what he had to say about the day:

We’ve had a pretty solid run of waves over the last week or so. Sam Thomas and I have been driving up and down tassie’s coasts chasing swells along with Cohen Thomas, Ben Siggins and Jeremy Faulds.

The peak of this particular swell fell on the Friday of last week, but Saturday ended up being the pick of the days with super clean conditions and plenty of uncrowded waves for myself and Sam (Thomas).

Unfortunately, the other boys had commitments and couldn’t join us for Saturdays session. Geoff (Swappy) Swan and Kyle (Boogers) Rodgers were also having a field day experimenting with different angles and watching myself and Sam copping a beat down or two.
