Holding On Documentary release second official trailer

The Skid Kids story is nearly here!

The world premiere of Holding On is a little more than two weeks away and if you haven’t marked it in your calendar then you are absolutely kooking it!

The crew behind the soon-to-be legendary part of bodyboarding history, Momentum 1 Productions, have just released their second official trailer (you can see the first one here) and boy does it look good!

Narrated by David Wenham (Blinky Bill, 300, Lord of the Rings, SeaChange), Holding On recounts the journey of six young men from Cronulla, who were united in the late 1980’s by the exciting new sport of bodyboarding.

From humble beginnings and overcoming much adversity, they were labelled the Skid Kids and would gain worldwide attention for their reckless, no-holds-barred approach to surfing Shark Island, a wave previously deemed unrideable.

Driven by the desire to push the limits in both wave-riding and life, the Skid Kids revolutionised board design, created innovative competitions and became infamous for their wild antics both in and out of the water.

A classic Australian coming of age story, Holding On features never-before-seen footage and a killer soundtrack supervised by Parkway Drive’s Winston McCall.

Starring: Nathan “Nugget” Purcell, Dave Ballard, Matt Percy, Christian “Rissole” Rigucinni, Mark Fordham and Adam “Wingnut” Smith.

Features: Mike Stewart, Ben Player, Chaz McCall, Doug Robson, Jeff Hubbard, Derek Reilly, Alex Leon, Luke Egan, Warren “Wazza” Feinbier, Mark Sorensen, Ross Hawke, Chris Stroh, Eric Grothe Jr, Damian King and many more.

Tickets are also now available for the JG Boards Holding On Premiere Tour, kicking off in Cronulla on February 6, 2016.
