There is no denying that Alexandra Rinder is paving the way for an entirely new generation of women bodyboarders.
The Canary Islands shredder has been pushing the limits of her sport by bringing an entirely new level of skill and difficulty on the women’s world tour.
In 2014, at aged 16, she become the youngest world champion ever seen in bodyboarding, eclipsing the record set by Andre Botha. And in 2015, she backed that up with a second straight world title, again the youngest ever to win two back to back titles.
Who knows what she will bring in 2016, but looking back on this short highlight reel of her 2015 campaign, we know the future of women’s bodyboarding is in safe hands.
