We hear you’re super keen to get to the NMD Pool party, what’s stopping you!?

I would love to see Ben Player and Dave Winchester ripping at the wave pool as I haven’t seen them in real life surfing. I reckon the wave pool is a sick little wave, it just looks so perfect to practise on and looks fun overall.

Who do you look up to in bodyboarding?

I would have to say Ben Player. His style just looks really clean and he is just a really good bodyboarder to look up to.

What tricks are you focussing on at the moment?

Backflips! I'm just trying to perfect it as much as I can, and probably reverse spins I would have to say. I just love trying new moves but also constantly working on the other ones that I can do.

Tell us about your worst wipeout

I would have to say when I was bodyboarding a shallow slab with just shorts on, and I went to pull in and I was a-bit too late and fell straight to the bottom and just got dragged all along the rocks and smashed my shins, knees, back and shoulders. I just got out for the rest of the arvo that day haha

Tell us about being the local mega grom out at wreck bay!

It's pretty good to be a local out there because I always know when there's waves out there because of me uncles telling me and me always asking the boys. The 403 mob is all of us boys from Wreck Bay, just surfing out Pipe and having a good time cheering each other on and always pressure each other to do a good trick and that.

What are tourists like out there?

Most of them are pretty chill but always fun to meet some new people
