With those words on page 13 of Riptide <a class="yt-simple-endpoint style-scope yt-formatted-string" dir="auto" spellcheck="false" href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/194">#194</a> a concept synonymous with world-class bodyboarding begins in earnest. It's been a long time between drinks for the Experiment issue (six years) -- the word alone conjures visions of perfect waves and the open road -- and we're ecstatic to be bringing it back for those who grew up with the iconic issues, and to expose the younger generations to the Experiment. 
Not only is it an opportunity to reward the highest-voted riders in the world for their efforts during the past year (2012 Bodyboarder of the Year rankings), it's a chance to throw them in a situation completely foreign to anything else that exists in the world bodyboarding media. 
Who are these riders you ask? The Experiment Seven team consists of:

6 Months is a look at what can be achieved in a relatively short period of time; it&rsquo;s a demonstration of what a lot of hard work can result in; it&rsquo;s a celebration of travel, adventure, mateship and the incredible waves that were on offer during the Winter of 2011.
From early April through until the end of September 2011, Ewan Donnachie chased waves high and low at a frenetic pace, along with good mates Jase Finlay, Damien Martin, Chris James, Nick Gornall and assorted other riders.
There were last-minute calls, delays, cancelled flights, lost baggage, injuries, unreliable swell patterns and adverse weather conditions, but the mission has been accomplished.
The bodyboarding film provides a rare insight into the lives and mindsets of these free-surfers and the equally dedicated photographers and filmers who document their exploits. "6 Months" aims to inspire. Save your coin, get some mates together, do a little research and hit the road to discover what&rsquo;s out there waiting for you.
